We've been busy building. Here's a roundup of the latest features and improvements on DirectHirePH — all designed to make direct hiring faster, safer, and more transparent for both job seekers and employers.
Escrow Payment Protection
One of our biggest additions: escrow payment protection for project-based and contractual hires. Here's how it works:
- Employer deposits payment into escrow before work begins
- Job seeker sees that funds are secured before starting the project
- Upon completion and approval, funds are released to the job seeker
- If there's a dispute, our team mediates and resolves it fairly
This protects job seekers from unpaid work and gives employers confidence that they're only paying for completed, approved deliverables.
Identity Verification for Job Seekers
Job seekers can now get a Verified badge on their profile by completing our identity verification process. Verified profiles get:
- A trust badge visible to employers browsing resumes
- Higher placement in employer search results
- Faster response rates from employers
Verification takes less than 10 minutes and requires a valid government ID.
Saved Job Alerts
Never miss a relevant opportunity. Job seekers can now:
- Save job searches and get email alerts when new matching jobs are posted
- Save individual job listings to review later
- Set alert frequency (daily or weekly digest)
Public CV / Resume Link
Job seekers can now generate a shareable public link to their DirectHirePH profile — perfect for sharing on LinkedIn, in email footups, or with referrals. The link shows your full profile to anyone with the URL, no login required.
Employer KYC Verification
To maintain trust and reduce fake job postings, we've introduced employer KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. Verified employers display a badge on their company profile and job listings, signaling to job seekers that they're dealing with a real, vetted organization.
